Nip/Tuck is a drama series created by Ryan Murphy. The series airs on FX which premiered on 2003. The series revolves around a plastic surgery practice called McNamara/Troy.

Sean McNamara and Christian Troy are the founders of McNamara/Troy plastic surgery practice. These are typical cosmetic surgery procedures of patients. The show is basically about the procedures of plastic surgery and also tackles the lives of the people who practice the profession.
The show is very controversial because of depictions of violence, drug use, sexuality and surgical procedures in each episode. However, though bombarded by critical praises, the show has received a Golden Globe and an Emmy and has also received a total of 45 nominations from other award giving bodies.
