Season 1
Dr. Sean McNamara and Dr. Christian Troy are one of the most popular plastic surgeons in Florida. They were best friends since college, but personal things that happen in their own lives tend to create a rift between them. Sean and his wife, Julia tries to save their suffering marriage. At the same time, Sean struggles to maintain a good father and son relationship with his son, Matt. This marks the beginning of Sean’s mid-life crisis.
On the other hand, Christian, a heartthrob to women in Florida, seems to have slept with almost all of the ladies in the city. He “love them then leave them” attitude is what usually gets him into complicated problems. To add to this, he lacks moral principles, drinks excessively and has no complaints about operating a person, as long as he gets paid to do the job. In every episode of Nip/Tuck, one patient of Sean and Christian will be featured at the same time and at the same time tells a story about the events that happen in their personal lives.
