McNamara/Troy Plastic Surgery Center faces another season where Sean and Christian struggle to keep it successful despite declining economy. The two faces unconventional cases while having their share of domestic and personal issues.

Christian and Kimber’s marriage continually dwindles especially due to the fact that they can’t perform well in bed. Their marriage simply cannot really work out anymore and it gets shaken a bit further when Christian tries to make another desperate attempt which does more harm to them than good. A visit from Kimber’s mother only makes matters worse.
Sean, on the other hand, wanted to leave and join a volunteer medical group named Doctors without Borders. His growing loath for Christian day by day makes him want to have a go at it more. He temporarily holds back when they both undergo psychotherapy and reveals secrets they have been suppressing.
The unconventional cases of the season includes a woman whose face was destroyed by a chimpanzee, a patient who self mutilates, another one who wants surgery to regain his lost years in a coma, and there’s one who was refused by Christian because of the patient’s uncertain wants.
The series ends its 100th episode. Christian didn’t have a happy ending because he has to let go of his best friend. Sean also leaves his family in the end.
